2017 SGM Outcome
On Friday the 10th of March the club held an SGM to seek approval to loan 100k from the bank to supplement the new changes in the Proshop. This was passed and will be utilised to buy lease or hire carts, Proshop fittings and fixtures and retail stock for the Proshop
Farwell Steve Fowler
In 2006 Steve joined the greenkeepers here at Taupo Golf Club, after 11 years of service he has found another position at the Wairakei 9 Hole. We wish him all the best on his new role. We have advertised for his position as 2IC and will hopefully have his replacement in the coming weeks.
SOS for the Greens
Calling all members that may have some free time and wish to volunteer their services to help the club out with Fairway and Greens maintenance. With the departure of Dave Carton and Steve Fowler we are struggling a bit to keep up, this will only be until we secure another 2IC Greenkeeper. Please register your interest at the office. Thank You
Clubhouse Painting
Most of you may have noticed we have started the second stage of the painting of the clubhouse. This is now almost complete with a few areas needing a second coat and some touch ups.
Thank You 9 Hole Men Group
The 9 Hole Men Group that have been helping install the new advertising On Par signage, we thank you. We appreciate that you took time out of your day to assist. The signs are looking great with another 17 to be installed in the next week, we hope to have the course filled by the end of March. Some of the signs may be moved yet, if they are proved to be in the wrong position. Feedback is appreciated.
Happy golfing
