Notice Board

Please take this as notification from Taupo Golf Club Incorporated that a vaccination policy will come into effect on Friday December the 3rd at 12:01am.

The Board of Taupo Golf Club Incorporated have taken the decision to implement a vaccination policy to apply to everyone (apart from those with an exemption authorised by the NZ Director of Health) entering the Taupo Golf Club boundary. This currently means anyone over the age of 12 years 3 months and not holding a valid exemption will be required to be double vaccinated. To clarify, this policy covers every area owned or leased by Taupo Golf Club Incorporated (the car park, the golf course, all practice areas, the clubhouse, the driving range, the pro shop and the greenkeeper’s sheds). This will take effect as of 12.01am on Friday December 3rd 2021. It will be reviewed at the Board meeting February 23 2022 or earlier should the COVID-19 protection framework change.

Vaccination policy - and play entitlement

The vaccination policy states that while the Club remains subject to the COVID-19 protection framework, all Members, all staff, all visitors, and guests aged 12 years 3 months and over must provide evidence of having the full Government-approved vaccination, or hold a valid exemption.

Vaccination evidence.

Members can supply either the digital vaccine passport, provide a scan, photograph or hard copy of their Covid-19 Vaccine Pass, or the confirmation letter from The Ministry of Health.
