TAUPO GOLF CLUB 50th ANNIVERSARY TOURNAMENT 

To dispel any confusion, please read:

COMPETITION:

· The first round (Saturday). This is a best ball stableford which simply means the best stableford score on that hole will be used from the two person team. You have been paired by computer so there is no need to submit a ‘Team’ card – your individual cards must be submitted. We will pick up the teams best score for each hole electronically.

· The second round will simply be the combined stableford score of each team ie both scores will count. Again, submit individual cards normally.

· There will be NO electronic cards. All cards will be available to you on the tee.

· Please swap your cards with the opposing team you have been paired with.

· Please enter your cards before putting your clubs away as we will be working on a tight time frame for all activities in the club house.

· To speed play remember that this is a stableford, therefore, you are encouraged to ‘pick up’ if you are unable to score on that particular hole.

· Having said that, there are no ‘gimme’s’ in golf, nor this tournament. If you can score you will need to putt out. It is doubtful that the rest of the field will give you any putts and you are playing against the whole field – not just your playing four.

· In relation to the planted areas marked with blue stakes (Holes 2,3,4 and 5). If you land in these areas you are entitled to (and must have) a free drop from the ‘point of entry’ – not perpendicular to the final resting place of the ball.

· Try and be at the course at least 30 minutes before your tee time, especially Saturday where you will need to register. And please listen for your name being called to the tee.

CALCUTTA:

· Tickets for the draw prior to the auction are available from the Golf Shop throughout the week and will be available up until 5 pm on Saturday from the bar.

· Please remember that all transactions are CASH only.

· All transactions must be completed immediately after the auction on the Saturday night. If a purchaser cannot comply with this requirement the ‘horse’ will be offered to the drawer.

· I cannot reiterate enough that Calcutta organisers will NOT be chasing outstanding debts after the auction.
